GOD IS DOING A NEW THING IN YOUR LIFE; RIGHT NOW!!!! BELIEVE IT!!!!

RECEIVE IT, BELIEVE IT AND ACHIEVE IT!!!!!
RECEIVE IT, BELIEVE IT AND ACHIEVE IT!!!!!

So let it be written, so let it be done! If you have ever watched the movie, The Ten Commandments, you will remember that every time Moses would state something for the record, he would emphasize that what he said was going to come to pass by saying, "so let it be written, so let it be done." In other words, he was saying that you should document it because it is coming to pass. Yes, you can move on with assurance.

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." Isaiah 43:19. When we think of all the things that can hold us back, rarely do we include ourselves in the mix and rarely do we think that we have a faith or a belief problem. It is always something or someone who is blocking our progress; so we think. We walk around almost everyday with doubt or fear. We listen to that small voice that creates a paralysis in our movement towards our goals. Whose voice is it? Only you can answer that. People, we can choose to ignore, but what about that voice that we own? What should we do about this? This is just food for thought.

Doubt, indecision, fear? Who or what keeps these voices strong? It does not seem to matter that this voice is not echoing reality; it is irrelevent, outdated and its accusations unfounded. But, we manage to keep it in the forefront. Why? Because if we are stuck, we can make even more excuses why we are not doing anything. Think about it. I am generally not the one to discard anyone's feelings, but I know from experience that listening to anything that does not build you up, can tear you down; what does not encourage; can discourage. Handing your future over to an unreliable voice can lead to a harder road to travel; making it difficult or impossible to obtain your goals. Listening to a voice that accuses, is one that needs to be redirected, ignored, or silenced. A voice that keeps one stuck is one that must be replaced.

Yes, there are some things that will give us pause and we wish we could have done better. So what! That was then, this is now! Get liberated! Right now! "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7. I am not trying to make light of some of our misteps in the past, but God has given us another chance; He has forgiven you (me). Thank Him for His forgiveness, forgive yourself and move on. God is not your accuser, He wants you and I to live an abundant life. "The thief comenth not , but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that. they might have life, and have it in abundance." John 10:10. "A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing." George Bernard Shaw. "Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes." Mahatma Gandhi. Mistakes that we have made, and we all make them, should be consulted only to learn the lesson so as not to repeat them. LET IT GO! "Mistakes, obviously, show us what needs improving. Without mistakes, how would we know what we had to work on?" Peter McWilliams. Don't dwell on your past or your mistakes unless that is where you want to spend your life; in a state of flux without productivity. "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes." Oscar Wilde.

In Isaiah 43:19, the scripture is inviting the people of Isreal to look forward to what God is doing presently. Yes, He has brought them out of slavery, blessed them with land, a livelihood, and helped them to sustain themselves, protected them from their enemies, etc., but He is letting them know that He is going to do so much more in their lives. They need to receive and believe God's promises. First, they have to perceive it. If you do not believe that something is even possible, there is little chance that you believe it will come to pass. God is actively doing something new and miraculous. He promises to make a way through difficult situations, symbolized by rivers in the desert and paths in the wilderness. The prophet Isaiah spoke these words to the people of Israel, reminding them that God's power and plan for them were ongoing and distinct from their past experiences in captivity. He calls for them to stop fixating on past hardships and to open their hearts to God's new beginnings in their lives.

God is speaking to us similarly today. Are we listening? Can we visualize it? Do we believe? Will we receive the blessings that God has in store for us? Or, will we continue to block our own progress by accepting doubt, fear and disbelief as too big to conquer? Remember, God is on our side and it is He who has promised us the victory. Might I add that there is nothing too hard for God. He is the creater and sustainer of the universe and all that is in it. He wants to do something new and miraculous in your life. You have everything to gain. Let God do it!

It's a little scary to surrender control; even if it is to God. With God, however, you cannot go wrong. He loves you/us with an everlasting love and He will make all things new and provide what you need. Why? Because He knows all about you and wants the best for you, even more than your parents or your best friend. He is immutable; "He is the same yesterday, today and forever-- (Hebrews 13:8 and Malachi 3:6)." He is trustworthy and faithful. He is Holy, all loving, all knowing; omniscient, omnipresent, sovereign, and eternal. Aren't you just a little curious? We can start by renewing our mind. Nothing really happens unless we have the right mindset. When we want change, we begin by preparing our mind for change. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2. "If we don't change. we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't really living." Gail Sheehy. You get different results by doing something different or at least differently.

Take action in your own life. Start by seeking God first. Then really begin to love yourself and others. I know this sounds so cliche. Well, maybe it is, but it is still true and relevant. It bears repeating:

  1. Take care of yourself both mentally and physically. Eat healthy, in the right portions, keep your doctor's appointments. Take your doctor precribed meds and get some exercise in. If you need to see a therapist, get going. There is no shame. You are worth being healthy and resilient in all areas of your life.

  2. Spend time in communication with God. In other words, pray, meditate. We should always seek to align our actions with God's will for our life. (Matthew 22:36-40). Therein lies a blessing.

  3. Help others. Pay it forward. We are blessed to be a blessing to someone else. My Pastor says that some people get all they can, can all they they get and sit on the can! Don't be like this. Share the good news and help someone who needs a blessing or a helping hand. This is what is required of us who have been given enough to share. "To whom much is given, much is required." Luke 12:48. Even when you have little, you can still give; a kind word or a prayer goes far. Let others see the love of Christ in you. No matter how badly you think you have it, there is always somebody who has it worse. (My grandmother taught me this). When you start helping others, it will become apparent just how blessed you are.

  4. Forget missed opportunities. There were missed for a reason. They are gone. Move on! Other opportunities will present themselves. Be ready to jump on them when they come. In essence, the next time opportunity knocks, open the door!

  5. Avoid and/or end bad relationships. I don't have to tell you what they are. You already know and you know that you should have dumped it, him or her a long time ago. Do it! begin to heal. Surround yourself with good things and good people; people of like mind. Mourn bad relationships, habits and affiliations, and push forward. Make new relationships and evaluate them; make them better by utilizing the knowledge that you have gained from previous relationships. God is doing a new thing in your life. Get rid of the old so that you can make room for new blessings. "God's Got A Blessing with Your Name On It!" Listen to the song entitled, God Got A Blessing with My Name On It." By Norman Hutchins. Please claim it.

I have been writing this blog for a little more than seven years. Many have told me that they have been blessed by it, and I have certainly been blessed by your comments and the word of God. God has blessed me to be working on several other projects, including writing some books. I do believe that God wants to do something new in my life. So, I am going to be still and let Him lead me. First, I want to finish all the projects that I have been working on. They are in various stages of completion. I am going to take a short hiatus from writing this blog and concentrate on the projects that God has blessed me with. As I complete each project, I will generate a blog to keep you informed and to share with you how you can get a copy of the books that I complete and where and how you can get a copy should you desire a copy. Also, I will send information about upcoming (online) workshops that I will be conducting.

Please know that I have enjoyed sharing God's love and God's word with you through the lenses of my life and that of biblical characters. Thank you for being such a great audience. You have blessed me. Please share these blogs with others and reread them as wanted or needed. So glad that you were blessed by these sharings!

Again, I thank you so much. Don't forget to live, love and laugh. In other words, LIVE YOUR BEST BLESSED LIFE! May God bless you and smile on all of your endeavors (keep going). Finish what you started. "So let it be written, so let it be done." I will be in touch!!!!

Yours, Yvette
